Sport and Fitness Training of Bear Hill Rd. in Waltham is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Cressey to its staff.
Eric received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a
concentration in Exercise Science from the
University
of
Connecticut
’s prestigious Department of Kinesiology, the #1 ranked program in
the
U.S.
While at UCONN, Eric was an integral part of
both human performance laboratory research and varsity strength and
conditioning, particularly with UCONN’s successful men’s and
women’s basketball and soccer teams.
An
accomplished author, Cressey has authored over 80 articles in
various online and print magazines – including Men’s Fitness
and Oxygen – and has been invited to speak on a regional
and national level. Eric also
recently published his first book, The Ultimate Off-Season
Training Manual, and has contributed scientific literature to
the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.
A
world-record holding powerlifter, Eric is also a Certified Strength
and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and
Conditioning Association. Specializing in
athletic performance enhancement training and corrective exercise
programming, Eric is a highly sought-after trainer for healthy and
injured individuals alike. Eric’s arrival
signifies the addition of yet another accomplished fitness
professional to Excel’s highly qualified team of trainers.
